Another Arkenel Rant (+ Spam)

So yeah this new rank thing... i understand the concept here and wha you're getting at, but i don't think it brings much justice. Let me explain...

I'm pretty sure all of ya guys know i dont get s--- time to play WoW... i share the game with 3 other people in my family and almost never get more than 1 hour a day becuase of various reasons. it really sucks. so that means i've had it for exactly 1 year and 7 days and i'm level 50. Though, if i played more hardcore with more than average time, i could have dinged 60 twice over. So yeah ive been very careful with picking my time on what to do - this means i've had to limit myself to such luxuries such as PvP and raids/partyin, adn if i ever do get to a party then ill only get 1/4 the way through the instance before i have to leave - to some of you this is old news...

So i thought it quite an acheivement when i was Wicked Angel (3rd highest) in guild... the fact that im not level 60 i think doesnt deter my rank IMO... I give items away, (except when i was grinding for mount, but thats understandable when you consider my game-time) I run instances with some other low levels (i did SFK with Morg the other week) and i am very guild-active. level 60 will take me another 4 months to grind to, minimum, which is my reason for being so... suprised... at this rank redesign. obviously i dont expect the whole thing to be changed to suit me... The point im trying to get at is that only becuase im a bit lower level, doesnt mean i have no less experience with the game.

Just think of the worse-than-casual gamers sometimes

u will notice there are lvl 60's of lower rank than you - as i said, its a combination of factors that now make 'rank 3' attainable - this should give th 'casual gamers but loyal and active guildies' , more of a buzz when they ding 60

it really isnt that big a deal - I'm srry you felt you had to rant it was simple 'housekeeping' to make the higher ranks more meaningful for ppl - not a real demotion or punishment of any kind

I think your taking this abit too personal (although i can imagine your feelings). The reason the requirements for a certain rank have changed is because the guild has changed. We've grown from a balanced guild level wise to a top-heavy level 60 guild. This is a very logical thing because alot of the lower levels from some months ago have gotten to 60. Next to that there aren't many new people joining our server and most people that start an alt park it in their own guild. So we are now in a situation were most of the active people in our guild are level 60 and that was the reason the ranks changed abit. The main part for becoming wicked angel still is active, nice and helpfull like it always was. You certainly fit into that category, thats why you got the rank in the first place. Also time people are in the guild is part of the requirements. Like Tizzi said, there are level 60's that aren't wicked angel and some clearly deserve it in my opinion but they joined more recently. Alot of our level 60's are even officer material but they are not, simply because we don't want too many officers.

Personally i never look at people's rank and i don't think alot of people do. I judge people by their behaviour in the guild. The only benefit of a ranks system for me is that new people can see abit of who are the active people when they first join. And having level 60 as a requirement for wicked angel gives them the reason why you are not a wicked angel. But new people will see soon enough who is active,nice etc and who is not.

Like i said ingame, we don't think any less of you and still love ya, so get to 60 as fast as you can and you will be wicked angel again.

p.s is part 2 of the raid on Theramore almost ready? I can't wait!

@Tiz, I would've got you in-game but as i said, i pick what to do with my WoW time very carefully to get the most out of it and the comp was taken up by Smike anyway

Aha, and @Wig, probably won't be till the end of next week, Left the damn file at my other comp at my mums place >_> I also need to brainstorm some guildies, I wanna fit in as many as i can.

To get to Rank 3, you must grind 11 hours a day every day for 3 months, Just like trying to get rank 14 in pvp.
