Mission Building Tools

I've seen various 'chat' around the board and in club areas concerning building missions. I have no expertise in this area so I can't really comment about how good a particular tool is and so forth.

If you have expertise in this area, by all means jump in and lets us know. There are members at Tides that want to learn "how to" and contribute missions etc to their club, as well as to SNATF.

What is needed:

1) Informational doc's and links for 'how to"

2) Programs and Utilities that aid in the process.

Mission Mate

I ran across this by accident on Air Warfare Com, copied the text because I heard some pilot chat asking for this type of info.

You can DL the program here: http://www.airwarfare.com/Sims/FB/fb_essential_files.htm#028

( originally I posted the url for the actual DL zip, you can't do that, the system will redirect. So above is the link to the page where you can download the utility ...ops!)

As I looked around Air WarFare, I realized it was a very good source of info for those of you "wanting more" then just the game out of the box.

Here is the write up on Mission mate
"Mission Mate" is a mission builder combined editor that offers the user the ability to create
"Quick Mission" styled missions with its own map and waypoint interface.

The quick mission may be as simple as head to head dog fights, or more involved bombing runs, fighter cover, airbase attack, vehicle attack, anti shipping or what ever scenario the imagination may wish create.

The built in editor offers even greater flexibility by allowing the user edit a multitude of settings such as, changing planes, changing weapons, quickly changing sides of the conflict and playing from the enemies perspective and more.

Both the mission builder and the editor support the use of custom skins.

Comes with a thorough HTML help file complete with examples and screen shots.

Rut Ro Reorge as Astro would say !!!

The link posted appears to be dead or outdated. Image

This link I posted was a DL line right to the zip file. You can't do that on their system. I edited the post and put a link to the PAGE where the DL is .. what I should have done to start with :)

Sorry folks....... ToWF
