Tori, as a submariner I would find it very distracting to be under your command!!! I can see that you would certainly catch the enemy off guard!

Jennifer Garner uses the same technique and it is so effective!!! good on ya for adding a little bit of stirring amongnt the boys!

In all the naval games i have played its seems the ladies prefer the ones based during the period of wooden ships and sails. May be because there were historically more women involved especially as pirates:)
Still the more ladies the better:)
Ican only speak for myself, but it'd be awfully difficult for me if I had to choose either sail or sub exclusively from now on...

I'll usually buy any naval sim I see, if it looks good... I have Age of Sail I & II, Man of War I & II, Silent Hunter (not III yet... I must make -some- consession to college classes and work) Fast Attack, 688i, Dangerous Waters (which I bought the same day I broke down and bought Enigma Gold), Harpoon Classic, and even Virtual Skipper, I, II, & III. I haven't had the time to get really good at some of them, but I have them, and I cling foolishly to the hope that someday I'll have time to play more of them.

This isn't completely out of character for me - I don't like "shooters", but I do play things like Lords of the Realm, Stronghold, Homeword II, and Master of Orion - but I have a special fondness for ships... Anything from Hornblower or Jack Aubry to David Feintuch, David Weber, or the old Traveller role playing game.

I'm not entirely sure why I'm so fixated on them... More than one person has guessed it's because the opportunity to command (or serve on) one is denied me, out of hand, no matter how much aptitude or capability I might show... Maybe they're right. I don't know. What I do know is that this post has gone on far longer than it ever needed to... So I'll shut up now. ;-)
