That would be a battleship. and I advise you not to stay too close to her :)

Played the 10A mission a second time and won too easily.

I headed 230 degress at the start, hoping to flank the approaching enemy ships from the south.

I looked at their starting formation and easily found their battleship bringing up the rear.

As DDs and DEs approached and ship to ship vollies began, I fired at two approaching DDs and slipped past them by going right between them.

I lowered engines to 1/3 and waited around for the battleship to approach. During this time I did a lot of pivoting, firing off some fish to scare away curious ships and sink some that were damaged.

After a while, I was left alone, with the battleship coming right up towards me. I fired 4 into it's bow, then my 4 afts into its aft. I pivoted and kept following it and at some point victory was mine as the convoy made it out.

I wound up hitting the battleship with a minimum of 16 torpedos and it still didn't sink. Isn't this a bit excessive?

But stay away? No - whatever for?!

Just finished mission 10B:
06:21:31 - Destroyed BB49 with a torpedo N at 415 meters.
06:22:55 - Mission completed at 54.7.57N, 1.39.5E
wave:

I was amazed at how relatively easy 10A and 10B were. You can win them without firing a shot or at least without sinking anything.

I loved the epilogue. enigma!:

But that's it, right? Time to got topside now, is that correct?
