I know, but I just don't like it. There are never any programs about shipwrecks.That don't make you a bad person...

FYI: Anyone can go to the Library and request videos or books (don't know if they have CD's yet or not) and if the Library dosen't have what you're looking for you can have them put it on a "Want List"
Since they are funded by tax dollars (Public Libraries) they are required to purchase these items. Not too many people know or use this but it is a excellent resource.

Another excellent resource is the History Channel, I was watching it in the early hours this morning and they were talking about diving on a German sub off of Wick, Scotland. (Moray Firth)
Scapa Flow.
The program was listed as "Deep Sea Detectives". They were going to dive on a German WWII Submarine.
They showed how the skillful German skipper navigated a type VIIC-UBoat past the blockade of underwater rubble which blocked the channel from Subs entering.
One really needs to see what efforts were exhausted to make this blockade to appriecate the skippers resourcefulness.
I didn't get a chance to watch all of the program but the gist is the Germans had 2 Subs that were never listed as being "Active" and never listed as "Missing"
The dive was cancelled due to foul weather, which the region is well known for but they did manage to get underwater photos and identified the Sub by blueprints and the gun turret mount.
From what I understand of the 2 Subs, one was built with and one without a forward gun turret mount. Supposedly the Sub without a gun turret mount was more sleek and could go faster due to less drag resistance.
They did make mentioned about the Sub possibly having had a internal explosion as it looked like the hatches were blown out. The bottom line here is they now know what happened to 50 sailors of WWII.
Hopefully next time it is on I will be able to watch all of the program. From what I did see I found the program to be interesting and if it comes on in your neck of the woods you may want to watch it.

I remember once seeing the National Geographic one about the I-52, but I don't know what's happened since.
