I've been playing this now for a couple of weeks, both surface and submarine. Having great fun trying to make progress through the campaigns and generally feeling quite pleased with myself.
Then I noticed I had the game setting on easy.
If this is easy, I hate to think what hard is like. Anyone got any experience. I know I'm not ready for it yet. /wimp mode off
The data on the B-TAC becomes more like the 'fog of war' ships,subs will only update if they are clearly visible, otherwise they will only show up on 'radar' at their last known position. So you'll get contacts jumping all over the screen. Scary eh!
Actually you might find the 'diffecult' setting easier to play, as most of this easy/hard is about visibility/asdic rules etc, and the same rules applies to the AI as they do for you.
This may have been answered elsewhere... apologies if i'm re-asking.
As far as MP goes I presume difficulty will be set to 'hard' rather than 'easy'. I ask so I that I'll know which difficulty setting to get used to and practice on?
there will be no EASY mode in the MP, and I will assume that visibility will be equal to all, so best to practice on 'diffecult'
