How are the plans to have this game patched to an internet multiplayer format coming along

No need to Patch.... It was written and coded for Multiplayer. 

and the multiplayer client will be free to download (and hopefully a near free CD version) so you dont have to worry about purchasing more software to play this game. having a free client makes paying the monthly fee that much more justifiable' date=' to me anyways.[/quote']

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure I remember East also saying somewhere that the MP client will also be included in the Christmas chapter release.

For the single player there comes an addon within a few weeks and a brand new chapter this forthcoming xmas.

The multiplayer is also schduled to have its first release at the very same xmas.

Whats this about a "free addon for the single player in a few weeks" is this true and where would we get this addon ? The 2 different games idea sounds good, a place for the FPS kiddies and a place for more RTS type play as well

The "few weeks" is a post from some time back and is refering to the European patch that brought us up to the same functionality as the North American release.

However...we are anticipating some kind of new product and/or update around Xmas. The details haven't been publically released yet, but rest assured that when they are, they'll be posted here.
