Hi All Great Game Congrats And A Question.

#1
Hi newbie here. I got the game from Amazon a couple of days ago I was initially off put by the non-sim nature of the game but I am hooked its brilliant. Great fun.
I love SHII but the 30 minute trudge from base and then another hour setting up for a shot is ok for weekends and free time but in the small amount of time I get after work this is perfect.

The MP looks great I hop it comes off.

My query is that generally I find that online people tend towards the German side. This is true in SHII with way more subs than destroyer available, also IL2, RTCW, MOHAA, even Red Baron 3D!!! Will the games not get slightly unbalanced as people opt to play Germany? I also envisage the Japan/Uk alliance being the most unpopular. Would it be advisable to drop the Japanese bit from the equation? Considering what they did to our troops it also seems a bit odd as well.
Hi Tomus and welcome.  We have basically created a clean slate.  Britain was allied with Japan during WWI and, with the militarists not coming to power in Japan, they remain a good strong and peaceloving ally.
We have some incentives we plan to use to get people to go to more than just the German side.  In polls we are finding that the League of Free Nations pulls them most interest.
Thanks for the reply East. I've been playing too many WWII sims recently to get my head round anything different.
I was even playing Freelancer the other day and kept trying to pull immelmans on the other space ships.

But well done on a great game. I hope it sells very well. Naval sims only come round once every so often so its a good job this one is good.

Looking forward to get cracking on MP the most though it sounds very intriguing.
Rest assured once Multi-Player takes off I'm sure alot of ole DD capins I know will be searching the waters for victums. :) Nothing more satisfying  than a DD running the guantlet thru a pack of  bottom dwellers and having em fire tows and end up sinking each other...Ahh thoses were the days.

You can't use traditional dogfighting tactics in space combat games! :D:D There's no such thing as physics for a start, unless you play I-War.

I think that Tesseraction's next game should be like Enigma, but set in space! THAT would give something like Eve a run for its money! :D
