Printing The Updated Pdf Manual

I have a full updated version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (v6.0.1.11).

I have no problem when viewing the updated manual. However, when I print it out the text is messed up.

For example, when I print out the title page, the words "SHIP OPERATIONS MANUAL" print out something like this:

SHI P OPERATI ONS MANUAL

There are spaces interspersed like this throughout the manual's text.

I have an HP PSC 2210 All-In-One Printer, with drivers up-to-date, running on an up to date XP machine. I have no problems printing out any other documents.

Not tried this, but a general point - Adobe Acrobat Reader 6 is an abysmal piece of software, I ended up going back to 5.x.

I don't doubt it - but that wasn't my point ;-)

Sometime the latest isn't always the greatest (Enigma excepted, of course).
