Hi all wave: Just joined the forums after trying out the N. American demo and loving it. My full copy of the game is in the post and i'm limbering up for some serious LFN action on the high seas. I'm a big RN flower class corvette fan as my stepfather was an asdic operator on HMS Campion from 1941-45, so it will be interesting to command one of those and capture something of the flavour of his war at sea.
I have been greatly impressed by the help and enthusiasm on these forums, quite a refreshing change from some of the WWII flight sim forums I have been on. The dedication of the dev. team to the game and community is equally impressive - keep it up guys and a tot of rum all round buxton:

Welcome Starshell! Glad to hear that you're so enthusiastic about the full version of the game, I agree it's great! You'll really want to get the patch for it as well, since it adds quite a bit to the game.
The Flower-class is most assuredly my favorite small ship of the game, and the Raiko is a massively effective vessel as well. Almost makes me wish I were LFN instead of USN

.
Anyhoo... welcome to the forums!

Gentlemen, then you will love the next upgrade (not the just released one). We weren't able to get the completely remodelled Flower and German Flower derivative into the patch - they weren't done.
They are so good we will be offering limited edition prints (signed by Howard and Bobby) at Enigmacon. The print features the in-game ship in a rendered setting imitating a (famous?) naval combat painting featuring a Flower class. It is absolutely beautiful. You will not believe it is an in-game model.
We are updating all of the models to this level and they will be in the next upgrade or release.

East - what can I say ! stunning news, boy am I glad I found this game. I had put a search into google on Flower Class Corvette while looking up how many RN flower histories there were on the net. On page 51 or so of the huge, and largely irrelevant, google list that came up was an entry for something called Enigma Rising Tide. Hmmm huh: , what's that ? I thought, clicked the button, bought the game and here I am

And now with the prospect of an even more detailed flower class corvette - Hurrah, and pass me the grog enigma!: buxton: By the way - how can I get hold of a copy of one of those prints, my stepfather (ex asdics on HMS Campion) would love a copy of that one.

Good grief omg: - you are just showing off now aren't you. That is one seriously stunning model. K23 I see, so that would be the historical HMS Jasmine in early war western approaches camouflage. I have never been able to find a picture of HMS Jasmine in camo - is this based on an actual photo or just fictional ?
Love the sea and water spouts of missed shells - now if you could just accurately model those in the game too
