Bc Question?

Hello alll;

Just wounderong about the guns on the bc's althought i have not completed any of the lfn or klm missions but would like to know if we control the main gus thoruoht a control tower like on the us and lfn dd's?. I would personally like to jump behind the main guns and fire them espelly on the dd's would be extremmly cool , and one more question do the secondary armment in single or duall turrets.

Yes and they are fun to fire (one shot, one kill)

The Hood-class battlecruisers have six double 5" turrets and four double 15" turrets. The 5" guns have their own director and the 15" have one for themselves as well. Therefore the only way to fire at more than two targets at once (with the mains) is to set the ship to auto-engage (from what I've seen). It'd really be nice to assign each turret to a target and engage swarms more efficiently, but ships just didn't quite operate that way back in the day.

Actually you can direct the guns to fire at seperate targets. Just click the gray dot representing the gun on your ship schematic in the lower left, it will turn yellow. Then select your target and click fire. You can do this for each gun and have them all fire at different targets within their arcs.

THanks for the answers i am still wondering if we can control the secondary guns sepratly meaning we jump behind the gun manually or are the fire controlled too?

Thanks Jophiel, I hadn't tried that yet.

Akula, you can control single 20mm and 40mm weapons in first-person mode by right-clicking on their dot. That's not available for each independent 5" and 15" though.
