A Few Questions For East

First off let me say EAST that this is one of the best surface/sub games I have ever played. The voice command is tops and the game is great but....

(1) Your website warfleet.net needs alot of work. After buying this game I had to read every site and a ton of posts to find out about the mutiplayer situation and what and where to patch the game (great patch btw)

(2) The manual leaves much to be desired. While the information is there it is poorly organized and leaves out a lot of detail.

(3) People who buy a new game and read the forums always have the same questions and there should be a pinned post for the answers and it should be kept updated weekly

Here are the questions I would like to know the answer to and I am sure alot of us new people would like to know.

1) When can we expect the multiplayer portion of the game to be completed

(yes i know an actual date is impossible to provide due to the lawsuit and development time but approx. will be fine)

2) When will the mutiplayer beta begin (approx)

3) When will the voicepack be ready (really looking forward to this)

4) When can we expect the next patch and besides bug fixes, what will it contain

5) Any new SP missions in the works, or new ships in the works. What are they and when do we get them.

I just want to finish by saying you have a great product and I have told everyone about this game and many want to purchase it but they always ask the above questions and probably won't buy until they know the answers. Keep up the great work and congrats to you and your team on an excellent game

Respectfully,

Ok:

1) we don't have a web guy. I update the site when I'm able and it's truly a miracle it has as much content as it does. We'll try to do better on this.

2) Perhaps you could be more specific. While I don't agree with some of your assessment, and financial considerations determined manual length, I do agree with some of them (organization for example)

3) Tides has been doing a beautiful job at this. Additionally, see answer number 1.

3.1) This year.

3.2) Also this year.

3.3) When it's done. Not sure on the timing (takes money you know)

3.4) You must be joking. We just released a patch and are now working full time on multi-player

3.5) Yes, Yes and don't know yet, probably next patch.

Thanks for the kind words, glad to have you aboard.

Thank you for the response

With regards to your answers especially the time frames for releases, I would have prefered a better time estimate than "this year" or "also this year" however I understand your reasons for not being more specific and I am sure you would be if you could and will be when you can.

With regards to the voice pack, I am aware everything costs money.

With regards to the next patch, I wasn't suggesting that it would be soon as I am aware you just released one recently. (I also never joke about patches)

As for my suggestions to my friends with regards to purchasing this game, I would recommend it to them just for the SP alone, that itself is worth the purchase price of this game, however if they are looking for a MP experience as well I would recommend they wait until you can be more specific with dates. A lot can happen in a year and other programs come along.

I wish you Godspeed and good luck on the multiplayer, if it is half as good as the single player you can expect me to sign up as soon as it is ready.

Thank you again for the response and I am happy to be aboard
