Would you pay $45.00 for a game then $10.00 per month to play multiplayer?
Yes 67% [ 19 ]
No 32% [ 9 ]
Total Votes [ 28 ]Please don't tell me that you guys are going to charge a fee for multiplay. If so then I may have to just throw my computer out this window beside me and give up on multiplayer games all together.ALSO: The registration code is for your free 30 days of multiplayer when it comes online later this year. You will be able to register at www.warfleet.net later this week.
I've payed for WW2 Online and Dark Space for waaaay too long and can't see why game makers can't run a system like Medal of Honor that allows us to host our own servers.
Even at $9.99 a month it just doesn't seem worth it.
I usually stick with games for years and somehow I just can't justify $120.00 a year to play video games.
So PLEASE... say it isn't so!!!
Actually you pay 45USD for the retail single player game' date=' so you can practice and improve your skills.
The online client will be given away free of charge, and then you pay xxUSD/mo to play with others.[/quote']
My reply or Opinion on the above would be NO.
Okay I have paid 46.99 in Euro for Rising Tide' date=' That doesnt bother me I like WII Sims and have always liked sims of that time and would pay another 46.99 euro if there was another WII sim out in the stores, but anywat back to the point.
I wouldnt pay $9.99 a month inorder to play online with other players, for the simple reason at the moment im paying Euro 120 every three months for internet time aloneunfortunatly flat rate internet is not available here in Dublin Ireland and probaly wont be untill the end of june, that means we pay by the hour and the bills are sky high, so thats the reason why i wont pay any more money becuase im paying through the nose at the moment.[/quote']
I pay an expensive price too' date=' not by the hour tho, thats years since I got broadband.
My bill says 549DKK/mo which equals (?74, ?51, $81)
Line speed 1mbit/256kbit
Yes internet prices are skyhigh here
What would you think is a more fair price to play E:RT online?
Should they just charge a 1 time for for the client? that would cost them a fortune when the game stops selling, as bandwidth isnt free![/quote']
