Dont really want to have to uninstall the game and reinstall it if theres a diff patch

to install. When do you think we will have confirmation from dreamcatcher letting

us know IF this beta patch will be the one to use or not?

I've descided to hold off downloading (as bad as i hate to) until I hear more info.

And ,, hows the Multi-Player Comming along guys? Still pending on that court battle

for the funds to make it so?

I'm using the beta and loving it. Even printed up the new manual. However, I see your point about not wanting to uninstall/reinstall. I did notice on the Subsim forum that the final patch may be released on Friday (2/27). That sure is good news.

For the better product, download and use the patch, report any and every unnormal behavior of any kind.

I also agree with Jesper, the patch adds significantly to the game. I'm having a great time with it.

Still haven't seen anything on the projected posting of the Final patch being released today (as stated by East on the SubSim Forum).

Just to add my comments on the Patch.

I think it add very much to the game.

One area I was having a real problem with was the speed of the torps. Now i can calculate the angle better knowing the approx. speed.

The new huds are great. I like all of the new graphics and animations.

The fact that after a waypoint has been set and any command to change nav will cancel the waypoint is much improved. i can not tell you the number of times i would yell at it to change directions or speed and thinking it was, only of find out NOT.

The depth charge controls make if so much more fun to change the pattern, drop half, progressive loads.

I have noticed that the turn speed of the subs is better. Is it more true to life?

Ok, a few things I don't like:

The sight problem or to much fog, what ever you want to call it.

I can't find the button to bring up the "B-TAC", have to use the keyboard.

The B-TAC closes when you go to the tactical sight. I think it should remain when you close the tactical sight you are back to where you left off.

Other than that I will delete all of my missions so i can play all of them with the new patch again. ONCE I FINISH THE GERMAN SUB CAMPAIGN.

If there are other area's that "EAST" and "JESPER" would like tested like me know and I will give it my best shot.

Great Game. Have not stopped playing. I have played at least 5 hours a day and all day and night on the weekends.

I finally figured out how to install the patch and I have it working properly.

I like the new infterface. Theres definately less viewing distance though and that

micro patch hopefully will correct this.

Before i could see the subs periscope sticking out of the water, now i see fishsticks

heading at me from out of no where,,,,
