Cruisers were all over the place during WW II. Although I'm upset (well, not so much, but you know ;-D) that the US doesn't have one yet.

I'm curious to see what will happen when the next release comes out. The Hood class is so dominant right now that I'm curious to see what will happen to the comparable cruisers. Most of the US cruisers of the era were based around 8? guns or so, but they were also restricted by the Washington Treaty. Who knows what would have been if there were no Washington Treaty? Those South Dakota battleships were pretty scary sounding. Then again, would they have been built purely as a US reaction to the Battle of Jutland? Hard to say, but pretty much sums up the fun that can be had with alternate timelines.

Cheers folks!
