Tides of War

I bought ERT Uk version.

After install, the game loading very slow. It takes me around 2 minutes to load the game campaign or patrol mission, every time.

Then i download the Uk patch and install, downloading and installation was ok.

But the slow loading still occur.

Game does not crashes or hang....

Just loading very slow...

Is it normal like this????

My Pc Specs are:

Windows XP with SP1

Intel Pentium IV (2Ghz)

512MB DDR SDRAM

Intel Motherboard

Nvidia Geforce 4

80Gb of HDD (50Gb Free Space)

DVD Drive & DVD-+RW

Need opinions and help..

Sounds like maybe a swapfile issue - I don't have XP so can't tell you exactly how to change it though. I'm sure someone else here will though...

Make sure you have installed the UK patch. It solves some of this. The other help is in your swap file settings - set the swap space to 1024 Min and MAX.

The new patch we are just finishing speeds up load times as well.

For me the first mission (campaign or patrol) always takes about 2 mins to load, after that all of them takes about 20 secs or so.

Is the "Swap File" settings the same as "Virtual Memory" Settings?

If yes, then i just change the settings.

The new Beta Patch completely solved my Slow loading problem.

Is this the selected candidate for TAG??

Its a release candicate, if no major errors are found it will be the official.
