Luv this game so bad! enigma!:
unfortunately, my laptop doesn't have a horsepower gfx to play the game smoothly. it just got a mobility radeon with a dedicated 16MB memory in it, but it runs E:RT quite well with just a little gfx settings tuned down!! Btw, it is possible after a number of tweaking attempts on my direct3d settings and the alchemy.ini file. I've done it through trial and error since my lack of knowledge on some command-line terms used in alchemy.ini file.
I would very much appreciate those who give me a brief description of the following toggles and what are your recommendations to boost up the game's performance even more:
ignoreDriverDatabase = ?
driverDatabaseVerbose = ?
forceSquareTextures = ?
shadowShaderConstants = ?
preserveFPU = ?
disableRefRast = ?
forceRefRast = ?
usePureDevice = ?
disableMixedModeVertexProcessing = ?
multiSampleType = ?
lockableBackbuffer = ?
disableUnusedTextureCoords = ?
disableTexCoordSrcCpos = ?
maxTexStages = ?
useMaterialVertexColorEmulation = ?
disableMaterialVertexColorEmulation = ?
disableVertexShaderBlending = ?
forceVertexShaderBlending = ?
CPUVertexBlendEfficiency = ?
GPUVertexShaderPerfRating = ?
GPUTLPerfRating = ?
shadingMode = ?
cullEnable = ?
cullMode = ?
fillMode = ?
ps: i believe my M6 radeon has hardware vertex shaders. (not pixel shaders)
Thanks in advance!!
