Hello guys, first I'd like to say great work to Tesseraction for making such a great game. enigma!:
I'm having difficulty with US surface mission 10a, the enemy have a Battleship pounding the fleet, and the enemy destroyers are superior to my own escort destroyer. Is there a way to stop the onslaught?

Thanks Yellowstain, I knew torpedoes would play a major part in the battle.
Have you managed to sink the Battleship with torpedoes? or does it take more torpedoes than you've got

It seems also that you are still in an escort .
This doesn't always happen , and it really should be a DD , when you do get thru the 11 missions , it will change into a DD. However if you keep trying you will succeed .
The chance is that if you play again with another name , (all logs are kept , if you want to change back , ) it will be a DD before you reach that mission .

I followed the advice, however everytime I pivoted port I get toasted by the Battleship, so I went ahead flank and fired my torpedoes. However sometimes I hit friendly targets which annoys me, and I still have trouble finishing the mission, even though once I was able to torpedo 2 enemy destroyers.
Every time I play now I get wasted by the Battleship - any one have any advice to stop the Battleship from hitting me???
