Simple question really, I did 3.2 km once with a spread of three torps on a cargo. I used my famous formula in the tips and tactics forum. And you?

Well calculate the angle to shoot the torp right, you can find all the info in tips and tactics. And it really works, there is a bit of luck but much less then "guestimating" all the time

Wow now that's a long shot fire: !! but at that range could you see the target ?09:10:02 - Destroyed M40 with a torpedo S at 3900 meters.
what do you mean by stuck? in the campaign or firing torps at long range?acgghh,, how did u do that,,,, im stuck. there...

Hehehe, new record! 4.6 km, with a spread, didn't see the target, only general bearing, and a other one at 4.2.....That's what i call luck!

TAG went to a local school once to demo the game & get feedback. This one little girl - I forget what age East said she was - could get a hit every time at max torp range. East had the boys searching for the bug in the code but there wasn't one - she was just a natural.
The rest of us have to make up for it with deviousness & low cunning.
