I should be posting this on tech support but didn't want to be the first - shy you see.
Anyway, playing the demo version as corvette. Demo version 2.50 I think.
Tracking the subs and depth charging them with zero success but managing to dodge the torpedoes.
Anyway, out of charges and hedgehogs i decide to wonder over to the computer controlled corvette to see what he is doing. Switch to F5 view and hear the telegraph bells - incoming torpedoes.
Next second, game announces my victory - destroyed the nascent wolf pack. Just thinking - how can that be - when I spot the torpedo tracks. No time to avoid.
Exit game - the event log is correct - sank zilch and hit by torpedo but the summary still proclaims a victory!
A bug that works in my favour - yippee.
PS: sorry to be the first with a report - the game is absolutely first class in all respects.
Thanks for posting it, we are always glad to hear what we can fix. Did your mission report say that 2 of the subs had been killed (or any)?
no subs destroyed. Probably one of those situations I couldn't replicate in a month of sundays.
On a subsequent play I rammed a sub and destroyed it - that was so neat watching it in F5 mode. Wasn't sure what had happened at first, just saw a load of debris fly up at the front of the boat. 8)
