Heavily damaged aft and amidship, destroyer HMS Bagheeria pounds its aft 5 inch guns into approaching KLM warships. The Bagheeria was on a mission to eradicate an enemy convoy in the Azores, when it encountered the heavier than anticipated German defenses.
