Player Squadrons

TAG will be shortly opening up a website devoted to supporting player created taskgroups - squadrons - etc.

How will it work:

You will register your faction and your player name

- if you have already registered with your MP Key this part is already done. We will be tracking player names, every name will be unique, you get it first (and it doesn't have a history of being someone elses name like East or Argon for example), you will get to keep it in multiplayer.

You then "charter" your player group.

- you give it a name, post the link to your website, submit your group art, etc.

The squadrons will then be listed on a page with rank, contact (if you desire), etc. You will be able to admin your group.

The benefit for doing this? When Mutliplayer launches - you will be transferred intact into multiplayer. Your squadron remains intact and doesn't have to be started over, worry about names, etc.

As we are putting the finishing touches on it, I am inviting suggestions.

and ... if so Will those registered be recieving another email about it going live, or is it a case of watching the forums ?
