I have a trainer I want to use, but I can't because the data is write protected. How can I disable this feature? After is use the trainer I will reload the original configuration.

What data? A specific file or group of files? Is it just a question of going into a file's properties and disabling its READ-ONLY attribute?

Things like number of torpedoes, gunn ammo, number of depth charges and armor are the things that are write protected? Can I change these?

LOL! Just sounds like your trainer doesn't work. toss:

Anyway, if you want to be a sailor, you better shape up or ship out! ImageImage

You cant unwrite protect anything.

The game is designed to block any and all kinds of trainers.

There was a trainer once for the unpatched UK release. I guess that is the one being referred to. I imagine the patch/future releases blocked this.

what is a trainer???
A cheat program that gives a player such options as invincibility, unlimited ammo, one shot kills, etc. This allows the player to continue practicing or playing without having the frustration of restarting games or missions.

Generally, a separate trainer has to be written for each game and for different versions of a game.
