Pre Cata Raids

Thought it would be good for the guild to try and form up a couple of 10 man RAIDs into ICC as we have a couple of weeks before Cataclysm arrives on the scene. Plus Daggoth has been nagging me about ICC

For those that have not been in ICC, if you do want to come please have a look at the guides on You Tube. Tacs can be explained in game too just makes it a little easier...

Suggest a run on 26th October at 8:15pm Server Time

Post is try and gauge if there is any interest a run. Usual required....

2 Tanks

2/3 Healers

5/6 DPS (melee and ranged)

So far we have:

Theaceman ~ Rogue DPS

Daggoth ~ Shammy DPS

I am not precluding anyone from joining in fact the range of people that can run in ICC has probably been widened with the changes in 4.01 and the 30% buff. Oh Chill of the Throne has gone too - welcome back pala tanking.

Perhaps an officer can change the login to advertise the post in game. I'll look and see if I can add to calendar, etc.

I'm not usually available on Monday nights and I can't start before ~20.15 game time due to a small noisy critter (no, I don't mean the wife - although the description is close...)

I admit I was quite chuffed we went into ICC last night and only needing to ask in trade for one more body. Probably just got lucky as I honestly expected we'd have just enough for a 5 man heroic...

First time in ICC since the patch for me and it was, lets be honest "easy mode". However it did give an opportunity for DonK, Aloh and Jukk to see the content for the first time. Hopefully we can get a few more involved on our next visit.

PS: At least we confirmed Teamspeak 3 as the default comms system. Just need Dagg to get a Mic now

The only thing you need to know for connecting to TeamSpeak 3 is the server: tidesofwar.net. FI has its own channel, somewhere down the list a bit.

You also forgot to mention we did the "lootship" boss on heroic mode

Another Tuesday night of fun in ICC for FI....despite the werid and annoying DK. Couple of nice drops for us too.

I thought our healers Dark and Daggs did a great job. We do need to develop tanks and healers (whether alts or dual spec on main) to give our small guild some flexibility for runs like this. Its always easier if we have 2 tanks 2 healers in guild ready from the off.

I'd be happy to tank with JBB (in guild runs) as soon as Ive come to grips with the patch 4 changes.
