Server Performance

We were running one of the smaller CTF maps with 5 other people today. and there seemed to be quite a bit of lag. I cut down on just about everything I could. These CTF maps are about as small as I can get them. Is there anything else running on the server?

I remember awhile back Smokin-H asking Comet if there is other programs running on the ToW server and he said there definitely was a phew besides ROF. I think the Syn experiment would be a great test to clear this up.

The server is only running ROF now and has been for some time so theres no more we can really do with the hardware we have.

I've noticed the lag as well. I'll try to troubleshoot more to see if it is CPU or network.

That day I did take a quick look at the task manager, and 1 core was pinned while the other fluctuated around 50-70%.. But that was normal for coop mode before.

Honestly, co-op mode always had its lag on ToW, but I thought that was normal and expected with Rise of Flight. But now that most of the errors and crashes have been fixed, it is more noticeable.
