Never underestimate the enemy and assume they've learned from their mistakes (and the competition).

We have certainly been paying attention to them ever since Sea Dogs II was pre-beta. They have good ocean technology and their terrain is quite nice. Getting help from Maddox means they will have some very nice models and very dramatic effects. POTC was nowhere near the game that SDII would have been.

I don't think it's going to be real competition. Their multiplayer isn't anywhere near the scale of ert. Pirates of the Burning Sea, on the otherhand, might compete for subscription money from naval warfare enthusiasts. I will check it and enigma out and stick with the one I enjoy the most. This "enjoyment" will not only depend on the game itself but the quality of the community as well. I learned from ww2online that who you play with is as important as what you're playing.
