How to make them stars and icons in Air Attack.

So you want to know how we make those starts and bind keys work. OK.. lets start with the Air Attack folder in Program files. Open up explorer or otherwise navigate to where your Air Attack game is. For me it is as follows:
C:/Program Files/Air Attack/
There is a file in there (A text file) that is named: ToALL-TEMPLATE.txt There might be also: ToEnemy-TEMPLATE.txt and ToFriend-TEMPLATE.txt.
Step 1
Rename these files so they don't have TEMPLATE in the name. Thus you would have three files in your directory named as follows:
ToAll.txt
ToEnemy.txt
ToFriend.txt
Step 2
Now you can EDIT the ToALL.txt file with notepad or a text editor.
This is what you see in a normal ToALL.txt file just opened:
Step Three
Open the game either local or via on line. Sit on a runway in some private area so not to disturb other players. I suggest a local game because you won't be able to see changes you make unless you exit and return (close air attack game)
Ok.. so your sitting on the runway now. Good.
hit Alt+ENTER
Now you see on your screen something like the following:
There is a message on the screen to select 1-66.
select 1 and hit ENTER and watch the results on the screen : " I got him! "
That is all there is too it. You can put any text in that file that you want to. One statement per line. The Game will number the lines.
When you have finished your ToALL.txt file, save it, start the game local or on-line.. test it

OK.. Now for a bit of the fancy stuff..
What we like to see is those 'symbols' like the star and the plus and the circle with the star in the middle. Well I won't go into the ALT-NumPad number.. to advanced for this class. But who cares so long as you get what you want right? OK.. the following you have to 'copy' and 'past' or know how to make that symbol
? <----- copy this, it makes a PLUS sign
? <----- copy this, it makes a CIRCLE with a STAR in the center
? <----- copy this, it makes CIRCLE with a BULLET in the center
? <----- copy this, it makes a STAR
Here is one of my ToALL.txt where you can see the application
I will make a file you can just copy and paste, but isn't it nice to know "how to do this" from scratch
Advanced Class:
hehe.. not really but.
ALT+ENTER = ToALL.txt
ALT+7 = ToEnemy.txt
