Hello Sports Fans!
Here's a weekly report from our practice results with USHA this past Wednesday night.
We got beat, but it was a lot closer than the week before. Can you say PROGRES??
Attending practice for USHA was: Kid, Action, Temper, Redneck, Slayer, Q1 ( I think that this might have been Heavy)
And for the BSS: JoKeR, Shwane, Tango, REW, Tbar, and Guest pilots BBC_Goofy and BBC_ Skycaptain.
First round was quite amusing during takeoff, I was watching REW scoot off the right side of the runway and while he was doing this I had my plane in a hard left hand turn and I rolled off the left side of the runway and crashed too. We all got up and went for a little alt and turned in. That round ended with 5 USHA pilots flying at the end. Tbar didn't make it to the practice until after the half time I do believe it was, and it's really hard to believe but Skycaptain still doesn't have team speak.
All the rounds after that where very close as there where only 2 to 3 USHA pilots still flying in the end. We did win 1 round and had a couple where USHA had only 1 pilot flying. All in all, I believe if we would of had all of our front line pilots flying I think we just might have tied or maybe even came out on top by a round or two.
Guys I am very pumped up about this. Elated indeed!! We went out with several pilots who do not fly with us on a regular basis and big a very good job.
If we could of had say Burton Zarn and Coldfire in this mix. WoW!
Our tactics is what we used against BBC after the third round and we stuck to it the whole night. After the match and thinking about what I saw on the map. I do think that USHA uses this same type of game plan but they disguise it very well with different take off patterns.
So, I think our game plan is solid. Probably only a few adjustments to make it even better.
Ok, Next practice this Sunday 1:30 PM EST. I need a lot of pilots to show up for this practice. I'll check and see if I can find a team to practice against but I will probably be doubtful. I think we are the only team that doesn't have a match this week. So I may ask FD to see if they would like to practice against us since they are not playing in this league.
Congrats on the progress BSS! We are getting somewhere.
