UKAAC 2 Squad Match Results. Thorn vs BSS

Yesterdays match with Thorn didn't go quite the way I thought that it would. With Thorn just above us in the rankings I thought that we might have a chance of winning the match or at the very least one half. Unfortunately, Thorn came prepared not to let this happen. We flew one pilot short the whole match against thorn. We had 6 they brought 7 to the game. Still I figured the match would be a lot closer than what it was.
In recent weeks we have been doing very well, yesterday we slipped a little and took another butt whoopin. I could of been because a couple of our key pilots where not able to attend. We definitely fell short of our goal of better communication. The first half was pretty good, in the second half it was pretty much nonexistent. I could hear people complaining, my self included that we were not covering each other. I heard Comanche asking for help several times and no one responded. We are playing to much as 6 single one man teams. Its not going to work doing things that way.
Not that we have a new X/O in Burton, I have directed him to come up with practice times for the squad to get together and do some serious winging practice and such. We have a good core group of pilots right now for the competitions, We still need a few more to fill in in case of emergency s.
The Core group as of now is Tbar, Joker, Talon, Burton, Zarn, Coldfire and Comanche. Tango is coming a long very well and I would like to see Hollywood and Deadlock step it up too. Our new guys Psy and Secret will probably be away for a while. I expect Rew to show up as soon as college gets back in session. I'm not sure what has happened to Packers and Strife, just recently contacted Tow and said he is ok. I'm assuming he is having some R/L issues.
Due to Coldfire recent illness, we probably won't see him flying for a while. Our Aussie and New Zealanders will probably be able to attend the upcomng KOTS event. (As of now the KOTS event is unsanctioned so I doubt if Tbar will fly in these. As far as I'm concerned Outlaw events are just as much fun as sanctioned events so, I intend on being there. )
Ok, I think I'm done for now, here are the game results:
