Tips and Tactics to Consider in 2 Squad Matches

Winning and Losing a match is all about Tactics not just Skills!
In brief and straight to the point without too much fancy talking, we need to focus on those Headlines (ordered by priority):
1. Be Patient!
I think this is the most important part of any match win, we need to wait patiently to find the best opportunity to make a Safe kill. it's best if we even ran out of time and make a very few safe kills than losing completly the whole match.
Don't just take off and be lazy and go to the nearst enemy, unless u evaluate the situation well and have some logic and find it's best if you did.
2. Winging at least in Pairs
If not workin as a Team/Groups/formation flying.
Cause any formation flying we do at first will all end up in pure randomness very shortly later. Even if we can't wing together or failed to fly in formations and we have the worst communication ever, thats ok, we still can do pretty good by just applying some common sense.
3. Improve Break out of a Pin
I suggest and i tested it on our last match with Rebellen last night and it worked, that when we are being pinned by the opposite squad, we start engine, take off by the middle or 3/4 of the runway (not the 2 ends) and keep going in circles @ 500 ft altitude/80% throttle/flaps down inside the AA range so we have a very good cover and none of them will dare to dive inside AA range and they will be helpless, then we keep watching the map, once any of the 4 sides of the runway is clear we apply Full Throttle, Flaps Up/Gain alt and Speed. and turn hard to pick nearst target if he is alone or to support our own mates (if almost equal numbers).
How to apply Pin is much easier but how to break out of a pin is hard!
4. NO Pilots throw themselves alone inside a Beehive! or they will get stung!
If you see one of our own pilots alone being attacked by a swarm of enemy planes DON'T GO TO SAVE HIM! or you will get killed urself too! very easily, we better suffer one kill than 2 or 3 very easy kills they can score. UNLESS we are almost equal (one pilot short on our side is okay) like 3 of us 4 of them..etc.
we can engage in any part of the map in almost equal number of pilots:
1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 3v2, 4v3, 5v4..etc
5. Situation Awarness and Map Reading much faster.
which pilots is near, how many of them, which is heading toward me (his direction on map) etc.
6. Don't attack a plane which is already being attacked
7. Competing for a kill will result in both of us got shot!
Its' better to look for a new near target. and if there is no any around and i notice my mate/wingman is doing good it's better if you leave them alone and climb and get alt so i can cover my wingman from above and be ready for any incoming enemy planes. OR head to a new hot spot on the map if not outnumbered! or a lone enemy plane.
8. Attack whoever attacking your wingman already
If the enemy plane is on his six and he is on bad situation. and again and only if only we are NOT OUTNUMBERED + NO NEW TARGETS GETTING NEAR.
Prolly ur wingman or mate will be busy doing evasive manoeuvers and the attacker will be busy aswell trying to finish ur mate and he will be an EASY KILL! for you.
and you better do it quick!
9. Stay away from the enemy base!
Unless he is heavily damaged, and all you need is a few bullets to finish him, or it will be too easy for them to escape and land for repair.
10. Dealing with an attacker from Above
Some Very Experienced Pilots use this tactic.
If he did a fake dive ( and you can learn to do it urself) and start pulling up again don't point your nose up and pursue, Keep ur nose down (straight by the Horizon lines) to not lose much speed, keep an eye on him using F4 padlock view, keep an eye on ur speed meter and only go h2h at the right timing, or u will be a Sitting Duck! and you will be an easy kill for him.
12. Count on yourself! no one else
you need to learn How to Survive Alone, because if ur wingman got shot down u won't feel unbalanced.
Our mistakes and cause of losses over and over lay among those points.
I figured those out by observations and getting my azz whipped alot in FFA lol i'm trying to practice those more myself too still, I just put some thoughts on it, and some of them are well known to all of us. i just thought we need to remind eachother.
and by the way, I got back on using KEYBOARD the last couple of months and i do have a stick too, but i prefer KB more and i can press many keys fast on them, i just got used to it and feel more comfortable with. faster response but the only disadvantage is that aiming sucks in KB sometimes using arrow keys
P.S. i might had some spelling mistakes while writing this, but i didn't get enough time to review it all again. sorry if u found any.
I hope this was helpful. and I hope this thread get pinned but trust me i won't try to break out of the Pin
If i have enough time again, I will try to add more tactics/tips or any new thoughts that come across my mind to this thread later.
Salute!

10. Dealing with an attacker from Above
- Keep ur Energy UP = Speed
- Don't Climb and Point ur Nose and go H2H Too Early only @ 4K and (COUNTING DOWN) -keey ur eye on his distance tag- start to meet him h2h and if he have better guns/cannons like 109K or LA-7 and ur flying spit (spit range is @ 2200ft and 109k @ 1600ft) aim good, Punish him with some bullets (while you are still out of his own gun-range) and do a ROLL AVOID then engage in a dog fight.
- Keep an eye on him using F4 padlock view+the map
- Don't let him go behind you, keep him above or ahead of you.
