Is it possible for someone to post the minutes from these meetings for those of us that cannot attend?

How about a chat box on the AA Launch Page? I know everyone likes to sit and chat in the rooms but it might be good.
Heres a
link to what I'm talking about.
Have a nice day

Derf,
What you gave us is a link to is a 'shout box' .. is nothing more than a mini forum thread. A shout box on the CLP, personally , I see no need for. It will be filled with 'crap' in no time and cause moderators work to remove all the insults etc. I'll bet you have a specific idea for that.. but you can see how it would be abused.
USAAC can follow up on your suggestion for you .. but we don't control the CLP as an individual site/organization. I am nearly positive we would have a really hard time selling that to the CLP committee. It will be on the agenda now, but no promise dude
You also asked if someone could post the minutes of the meeting. The abrupt and rude answer is NO. If you would like to volunteer to 'transcribe' those meetings .. be at every meeting .. and do that work, then the answer is yes .. but a yes answer depends on YOU.
... not totally true however...
If you want to 'hear' the meetings, you can, as we post a TS Voice recording of every meeting (barring Joker forgetting to save the file)

I think if you look in the Archives and in this forum .. you will find "minutes". Minutes are not really detailed however, just a summary. For the full meeting recording you have to download a TS file and listen to it. The folks that are supposed to save the TS files etc sometimes forget to make links for them, etc .. but they do post "minutes" although in brief form. The reason I say NO to you so rudely is that it takes so much time to transcribe, USAAC can't ask a volunteer to do so in detail .. but they have enough care to at least post up abbreviated minutes. Full account should be posted for Team Speak review by anyone in the community.
You have brought an area where we are 'slack' to some degree to our attention. I'll work on that. TS minutes should be posted, and most of the time you will see a summary transcription of the meetings.

Hi Derf
As Secretary for the USAAC, I do post a summary of minutes and try to let them stand for at least a moth before they get filed away in the archives. Since my last pc problem where I lost my hard drives I no longer have any full length recording of the voice meetings. I'm going to ask for space on the USAAC if they can spare a little space on the server for the recordings to be archived.
In additon, due to my previous stated problem I lost all written meeting files too.
I should have no more problems for a while since I have now went out and purchased a new PC.
Thanks for your questions!
JoKeR

I have the last meeting on TS recording. I listened and gave Joker some "minutes" for this post.
I can burn and mail a copy of the meeting to you tbar if you need to upload it to archives or sumpin,
And Derf m8, to bad you cant attend because you can record the TS conversation yourself and is a great oppurtunity for members of the community to sit in.
( popgun clarify that anybody can record or only someone registered or sa can do it? )

I myself have never used the record on TS,and dont know if anyone can record,Ill find out.
and I have to agree with Tbar on the clp chat. This may be more problems than its worth.
Although a chat is a good Idea, policing may be a problem.
I remember on the gaming zone there was a lobby on every arena launch that you chat in.
We could bring it up and see.
