ok,
here we go again. The other night when i flew with Tbar, i'll admit it seemed like teaming, we chose our targets and only killed one another when we were either alone or 1 of us had smoke. There was four BBC pilots in the room, each recording and i was told about it on the USAAC TS by them. Im not going to mention names, except one which is a possible problem. Popgun was there under an alias. They've promised not to take it any further than the recording, but they're not sure about Popgun, so Tbar or Joker dont be surprised to hear from him. I explained it was choice of target but they said it was plain as day we were teaming. They were kind not to take it any further but will if it happens again.
So this is what i propose, we fly in FFA and if another BSS pops in we go straight to Teams. Im not going to do all the stuff of flying under an Alias in FFA because i dont want to hide my BSS tag. OR we fly in FFA with BSS tag but just stay clear of eachother and fight occasionally. Joker it's ur call.

First off, the teaming thing is a bunch of hogwash as far as I'm concerned. And yes I know that people other than the BSS has access to these forums, why, I do not know you would think if it were password protected only the BSS would see it. Anyway, If you fly a team tag, you are going to be called for teaming. USHA is one of the teams that will come in and beat the pants off of people. I don't care, and it doesn't matter to me. If I get put in a position to get shot down, thats my fault. BBC also knows full well that they do it too. IF I choose not to shoot at someone it is my own free will. It is not only BSS pilot that I will usually not shoot but also other pilots that I have made friends with over the last couple of years. Skydance is one of them. Why? Because he took some time to teach me some stuff when I first got started. I will sometimes not shoot at Tzu or Marine. These are just guys that I am fond of. When they take a shot at me then the gloves come off. Which is usually most of the time in FFA.
I myself is trying to stay just in the TEAMS arena as much as I can. This way it is no problem. I think that FFA is one of the reasons that I am such a lousey pilot to begin with. I learned a lot of bad habits by being a loner and right now that is a hard one for me to break.
To get back on topic, if you want to pick your targets, so be it. If you want to shoot everyone thats ok too! If you get chastised for it, make them prove it. Tell them to send the film in and let a SYSOP decide. Most of the time the won't do it, and when they do it will still be hard for a SYSOP to agree with them.

Bryz and I were flying in FFA. I think I had my tag on .. but honest I can't remember. In any event that tag clearly showed name Tbar. I can't remember what tag brys had one... I forgot.
Bryz, it could very well have looked like teaming. It was not our intention, but were we in proximity very often. I doubt anyone has film of when I did shot you down, only when I did not. This in fact looks bad.
Our intentions were to practice communications. We were talking a lot.
I think Brys, you and I should not say anything at all. If Joker is contacted he can say we were guilty by the letter of the law .. but not in sprite and can explain for us. . Do NOT respond to anyone in this matter. It is strictly CO business. Be polite, you can explain it was not intended from a personal stand point and that is all. Leave everything else to Joker.
Joker, I think we were guilty by the way it probably looked to others. However, we had no high score or stars. Nor were we using the coms to flaunt/taunt other pilots or anything like that. We were not using a fly-trap or baiting either.
Most times we flew off in different directions. However, there were times we did not fight each other for other reasons than teaming .. reason such as follow me I'll show you something etc. In the center right .. we avoided .. went different directions.
If the people involved .. or the complainer .. would have simply said how things looked .. apology and end of story.
Privately I think it is real petty in light of the people complaining know us well.. know where we can be found.. and can alway speak with us.

Teaming, the way I see it is if 2 or more coordinate to hit another, such as Tbar roping ***** so that Bry-z can get him. I am sure this was not the case as you simply decided to avoid each other when ever possible. Could we also ban players for knowing they can't beat a certain pilot and so never fight them? Has anyone ever seen a SYSOP warn or boot a player because says "pass" to another which is also a form of selecting who to attack? I think not. It's simply selection of who to fight when and where.
