however, as my track record is being established it must be clear that I often ask questions without reading every damn post in the forum. So here goes:

Once I register and choose my faction at warfleet.net am I stuck playing for that side for the length of my subscription?

I'll pop into the room at about 6pm BST (GMT+1) to check whether there is a session today.

Directly from East:

You can change sides....HOWEVER

keep in mind that you are considered a traitor by the faction you just left and cannot return

you also lose all rank and status....

UNLESS we are able to get the espionage stuff going and then you get to transfer with Rank

however you will be stuck at that rank until you prove yourself (regain that rank) with the new faction

If you jump your way out of all 3 factions....

you end up as a mercenary

you can apply to join the Corsairs (Free French Navy)

This is where groups like the Assassins are

if you become a mercenary, you only have the single ship you choose when you leave your last faction and you have 1 tank of fuel and 1 loadout of ammunition.

you will actually HAVE to capture, negotiate, etc. to stay supplieed...

I know this is going to sound like a dumb question, but has the multiplayer

option been released because I don't see the link on the main game directory?

Do you have to go to a different website to download the patch? And once this is done then you have to go and register your faction at warfleet.net?

You're right, MP has not been released yet - should be something later this year. Have a look at the transcipt of the last session with East for more information.

Good hunting,

This all sounds pretty good but here comes yet another one of my questions:

After you run out of feul what happens to you? Are you kicked out of the game? Do you float helplessly waiting for some aid? I think there should be some kinda of limit like you are only considored to be a traitior for like 3months or 6months and then you may return if you want.

When you run low/out of diesel/ammo you will radio for supplies.

Maybe you have to wait cause there is no supply ships close or maybe you can reach a port, you wont be kicked out, but you may very well get some wait time :)
