The Ingos

As some of you already know some of us are trying something new - dwarven cloning (fun for the whole family). To explain in short terms it is that you create a dwarf following some strict guidelines on the Sporeggar RPPVP server and name him (yes one of the restriction is that he is male) DonXingo - the X is either the first letter in your regular mains name or the first few letters. So to examplify Buxton would be DonBuingo, Lankyfeet will become DonLingo. The idea is that this is NOT a race to lvl him first or solo through the entire game.. this is anything but. Instead we all meet up once a week and lvl and have fun in groups. Therefor yuor are supose to take the class of one that can help the group as a whole (there is no I in team).

As of now we have 11? (pyro is still uncornfirmed) players on board and counting. And the first meet and greed () is this very saturday at 20.00 servertime!. We are though uncertain if saturday is a going steady day yet, but what is certain is that it will be wacky fun :!?: Just imagine 12 identical lvl 1 DonIngoes running around like crazy... one big happy family.

Im inclined to use the words of Google - there is but one rule "don't be mean". But there are some other rules too.

1) you can only join The Ingos by making a dwarf toon on the Sporeggar RPPVP server, that looks as close to the screenies posted a little further down. Furthermore the toon will bare the name of DonXingo (as explained earlier).

2) When you join The Ingos, your toon will become part of a team. Each team will be composed of 3-5 members.

3) By joining a team, you're committing to playing with your team at least once a week. (If the whole team wishes to meet more often, that's great.)

4) In order for the team to succeed the best, please pick a class not currently already represented in the group.

5) Do not level you toon when its not party day. If you feel the need to play the new toon then do so leveling your profession skills and the likes of that. Remember if you are a skinner, then only kill creatures that are grey (or skin already dead animals). And dont go exploring to far away as that will give an unhealthy amount of xp. This guild is about having fun and leveling together not apart.

6) When we have the money for it, we wil form a Guild called The Ingos, but that will probably take a while. But still - hang in there!

7) One character per person. We don't need sugardaddies, hot mommas or rich uncles to farm our way to succes. We are an selfsuficient guild (or atleast we aim to be).

8) Don't be mean (almost forgot to make it part of the official rules). you all know the drill - be nice, not just to yourself, but to everyone around you (unless your character is a particulary cranky dwarf, since we are on a RP server, and ofcourse be mean to the nasty horde since we are on a PVP server).

9) Once everyone on your team is ready to go... Go! Play and enjoy, and if you feel like it please write about the teams exploits either here on this forum or a blog or whatnot.. (we really havent found the place to do that yet).

10) And we mean that last part... go and have fun. being lowlvl can be fun. Yes, really!

I think you missed the part where all the dwarves should look alike (per the screenshots).

Alas, I'm not going to be able to make the inaugural event

I guess realistically we will probably hit 2/3 numbers on any given day, so there will always be some characters needing to catch up. If, as teams, we help out the least developed dwarf first, that should ensure roughly balanced levelling.

The Clan of The Ingos is now official. After getting everybody to lvl 5-6ish we went to Ironforge, got the roster, had it signed with a little help and ended the night with a group photo. All in all a good night with some quick lvling and some fancy moves.





Btw.. we have decided that next saturday we should all start at lvl 10. So if you have a toon get it up and running. You have a week. Should be enough time And if not, we will just take it from there anyway.

thx eido, i saw that a hunter or priest would keep groups even but was hoping pally was ok as i have vet at 70 and ermi the hunter at 65ish so was after a change
