Tides of War

Once again the Sheep took the battle to them not letting up one inch of ground. We fought hard in the first half and made a really good showing. The strategy was good, the performance on take off was quite poor. If we didn't have those crashes, our plan might have worked a lot better, still we where able to keep the tigers down at ground lever and gave them one hell of a fight.

Second half was not good and for me it was damn p--- poor. 0-14. This was really my worst half ever. I think I was more disturbed by the fact that I allowed so many pilots to fly in Yaks. Next time be ready to fly in LA7's boys. Get practiced up.

I too feel that I am very good in a yak and have proven so in a couple of matches but in these leagues the yaks are way to easy to kill when it comes to fighting good team. From now on only 2 yaks at the most. I'll decided who flys them.

The first half started with BSS flying GE. A crash on take off left 2 bold BSS heading straight at GB with the rest following behind trying to catch up. The score was even through the first 10 kills. The Action stayed primarily at the gb base with BSS relentlessy coming straight at the Tigers. Slowly The tigers started pulling away in the score all the while BSS charging them and fierce action at the GB base! About 15 minutes into the game GB finally took the fight over the GE base and started a pin. One lone Ge pilot broke away low and fast to GB making 3 gb follow him and leaving the Ge base free to break out. Unfortunaltely BSS couldnt capitalize on the oppurtunity to break out in the right direction. The match was fought primarily over the tigers base with 2 excursions over to GE. BSS fought hard and put pressure on the Tigers but the Tigers prevailed in the first half.

According to the rules Both Co's agreed to let a sitting Tiger replace a Tiger with a lost connection in mid match.

Sorry I came in only during the last half. I gotta admit even though we lost this may have been one of the funnest matches I've played. I didn't feel any pressure from the FD guys(i think they went easy on us ) so it wasn't too hard and not too easy. The collisions added even more to the humor for me. I was kinda expecting it to happen again in the 3 round but HOORAY! we all made it off clean. Collisions may be funny and at times very fun, but we need to avoid them during matches because we will lose points, and we need every last one of those.

The LTS match was pretty good. I was so druged up that I could hardly keep my eyes open I could get my plane to turn on scrammble and keep running out of bounds on the other side of the strip. I'll be glad to get over this darn bronchitis, AGAIN!
