THE HOSPITAL IN HELL

Hi Kids

As most of you know I checked in for emergency surgery.

I checked into emergency at 8 am.tuesday,

By 11 am I had a catscan, xrays,and a blood test.

At 11 30 pm I finally got into a room.

Seems I had 2 abcesess in my colan that caused 2 holes in the colan wall and 1 in the digestive wall. So by thursday morning I was in surgery.

The first night I was in so much pain I couldnt sleep more than 10 min at a time.

I could not believe how much noise there was.

The nurses were in my room all the time checking things.

By the second night I was so exausted all I wanted to to was sleep.

It wasnt more than 10 minutes after i got to sleep that a nurse woke me up

to check my blood pressure , I started yelling at her to get out and let me sleep.

She ran to the head nurse and told her how rude I was.

The head nurse then knocked me out with a shot.( after I told her off )

This is how the nightly routine goes.

7 pm dinner ,( I was not allowed any food )ice only,

8 pm change IV bags,

10 pm check my blood pressure.

11pm check my suger count,

12 pm check my tempeture.

1 am shift change, noisy as hell, people yelling and laughing and waking up patients.

2 30 am check blood pressure.

3 30 check suger.

4 00 check temp.

4 30 empty the trash in my room.

6 am it starts all over.

After surgery the kept this up and I could not get 2 hrs sleep at a time.

I finally went to the director of the floor I was on and told her what a p--- poor

hospital this was. I went down to have a smoke,

When I got back there was a note on my door that said

( Do not disturb, leave door closed and light off, check with nurses station before entering.)

Ok I thought now I can get some sleep.

But when I went back into my room my room mate was snoring like a chainsaw.

I yelled at him but he couldnt hear me over his snoring,

Later that night a nurse from the shift change turn on the light in my face without warning, Yes she got told off also.

In the room next to me the prison had inmates in there for free health care.

The guards were louder then the inmates,

So I got my room moved.

But that turned out worse as I got moved right over the ER,

I could hear every thing going on in the ER all night.

Never in my life had I seen such disreguard for the pateint.

I remember when I was young there were signs in front of hospitals

that said (Quiet hospital zone ) and the hospital was quiet at night,

Guess those days are gone forever,

I got so p----- I checked out a week early.

So I still have 5 more weeks of recovery time to go, and will not be online

much as I cannot sit up very long at a time.

Just thought I would share me experiance in the hospital from hell.

No Popgun,

It was a logical deduction since the gay capital of the world resides in California, You know, San Francisco.

That place is so bad now that they don't even want the Blue Angles or Thunder Birds or Red Arrows performing there anymore, damn, how gay is that! Image

Hope you get better soon my friend.
