Can Someone Fill Me In On The Multiplayer Side?

Ok after reading through the enigma webpage it says we're looking at one multiplayer game world (like wwiionline if anyone plays that). Also no charge for the game, just a monthly fee to play in the game world.
Now I see from reading the forums that we have a retail/singleplayer game coming out.
Is "one world" multiplayer still on?
Do I have to purchase the retail game in order to play in the multiplayer "one world" on top of a monthly fee?
Will there be any kind of multiplayer in the retail version coming out in a week or so?
Just curious becuse i'm excited for it all to get online.
There will be a single player release this week.
The single player has as far as I understand nothing to do with the multiplayer client, its more like 2 seperate things.
So you dont need to buy the single player in order to be a multiplayer.
the single player release has no multiplayer feature, and TAG has said there most likely never will be LAN|private server.
The multiplayer client will be free of charge, with a monthly fee to play.
and it will be "one world"

Is there any idea on a start date for the multiplayer or is the game that far yet?

THks East, I guess i'll have to make due with the retail version till then.
I think i'll spread the word to some of my wwiionline squaddies too. I know there's a few guys that will eat up any naval sim and probably go balistic over this one.
