2 squad Event request

This is a complicated event.

It is for squads only.

Both squads will need Team Speak as well as the ref.

There will be one ref, and two squads. It will be on the Small/Large Tactical map depending on the squads size.

So this is how it works:

The Radar will be off.

One squad will be the intercept, the other, the escort.

The bomber squad will take off and fly to a predetermined orbit point (circle point) and gain altitude until upon predetermined altitude.

They will then have to fly to a specific square on the map, that point will be monitored by the ref, it will also be the ref's orbit point.

Since there is no radar, the squads will find it challenging, but will receive help from the ref.

The ref will be on a whisper channel, and will give the two squads directions. The squads must do what the ref says.

The ref will direct the bomber group/escort over towards himself, he will just simply say, "Take whatever evasive maneuvers you need to, just come to square ____"

He will then immediately notify the other team that there has been an enemy bomber escort group discovered by a forward observer.

He will tell them what altitude range they are in, High (10k or up to 15k limit), Middle (10 to 5k), or low (below 5k).

He will tell them some things such as: "They were seen going southwest (if they were GB) High alt. Intercept them now!"

The intercept team will then take off, gain alt, and pursue. There is no radar. They will have trouble finding the enemy but it is possible.

The interceptors can take off as many times as they want, so can the Escort team.

All CoC rules apply.

They can split up the team as many different ways as they want (such as they can have half the team take off now, the rest later, something like that).

There will only be two nations used. Most likely GB and GE, but w/e the teams want. The alt and course may be altered at anytime.

If the ref feels like it he can tell the escort team that the information was wrong and they are heading for the wrong target, and that they should change course immediately to another square.

I would highly recommend using the large tactical map.

That is my idea.

If you have any questions at all, you can email me at ktfick@gmail.com

also, you know who I am, TS_RedHawk.

Thats my idea, just lemme know what you think please!

Might add a little something to the SNL huh?

Fly on m8!

P.S. Please feel free to change the time and date and all that, i just filled it in for now, i have no idea when it should start/finish.

Well my friend this type of event has been considered a long time ago.

The 1st problem is to turn off the radar you must be in cockpit view only.

In this mode you have no outside views.

It is cocpit view only.

The radar may be off but you still have the map view.

just hit the map and you can see all the planes.

The other problem is getting 2 willing squads to join, This is like pulling teeth..

Putting together bomber events is not easy,it takes alot of setup and many things can go wrong.

I suggest you make a private room and put it in cockpit view only as this is the only way to remove the rader, and try it with a couple of m8's.

Then let me know what you think.
