i downloaded this demo but i can't play it can't even install please help
Whereabouts did you download it from and what is the file size? Is the zip file a valid zip file?
It may have been the file got corrupted as you downloaded it.
Which demo did you download? there is 9
Can you unzip the file you downloaded?
As Steven said:
Where did you download it from?
Maybe the *.zip has gotten corrupted during transfer
Did you use a download manager, if yes, was there at any point where it stopped and resumed?
if you dont have a archive file unpacker: download WinRAR this program can also check the file interigty.
Can you unzip it;
Describe what happens when you run the setup.exe file.
NINE?
Omigosh, which one should I DL if I just want a nice, subsim experience to see if I want to buy the game?
I'm a big fan of Silent Hunter II, FYI...
yes NINE![]()
http://www.enigma-game.com/downloads/ fill your name and email and click download (this isthe most recent demo, very equal to the retail game).
Hi;
Nice to find you online. I've posted on the topic of torpedoes, as well. I can't figure out the aiming mechanism in Enigma when firing from a sub. I'm use to the targeting from SHII. Enigma looks great, and I'd like to buy, but I have to know how it works. You seem to be the expert. Any clues?
Ill reply in the other thread to that
I've downloaded the latest version of the demo 3 times from the link posted above. There are two mirrors at that link to d/l from and I have used both. Everytime I attempt to unzip, I get a "unexpected end of file error". I assumed the file was corrupted, but two different files from different mirrors? If there is any known issues with unzipping these files could you post it? I run windows XP on both computers and I have both winzip and winrar. I run a cable connection to the internet as well. Thx!
the version for download off this website is corrupt. i found a couple other links, just google search for "enigma rising tide download" or something. 3dgamers.com has an up to date version that works. fileplanet.com probably has it too. look for something ~110 megs.
