BSS had been "personally' invited to a Dec 1 Rookie Event being sponsored by the UKAA Club. Since BSS is will known to be mostly rookies we we are 'squad' that came to mind formost and right up front .. thus the 'personal' invitation extended and sent to my attention.

The event itself .. I have no details to post here other than what you can find on the CLP. If that info is not there today .. it will be shortly. I'm also sure that the information will be posted on most Community Sites such as the USAAC..

What you need to do .. honestly .. is ask yourself .. are you a rookie?

Tbar, Joker, AirBoss are NOT rookies and should NOT participate.

Zarn, Jonny, Strife, Red . ... you are NOT rookies.

If you have started up in AA within the last three months .. you are a rookie .. even if you are an ACE within the BSS

And Tbar aren't you always telling us "I'm no ace pilot". So why aren't you going

I Respectfully request permission not to participate in this invitational event,

for specific reasons as follows;

1. I do not consider my self a rookie, only a newbie that still needs improvement,

2. This "Rookie" invitational challenge event, has the appearance of the inviter wanting

to make the BSS Rookies look bad.

3. I was under the impression after joining the BSS it was a Squadron made up of

all "Rookies" who was in need of much improvement, and we were all "EQUAL"!

4. From my observation and opinion only since Ive been a BSS pilot and a previous

lone hot dog newbie in the FFA arena, and participating in all most every "Fun"

event since 11/10/07 to present time being 25/11/07, making me active in the game

less than 2 months, Only one pilot stands out from all others, who has given me a

hard time to bring down "Fox," but of course that was when I was only 2 weeks into

the game, Ive yet to find him in FFA, to see if I have improved since then!

I therefore respectfully again request permission to sit this one out, unless ordered to

do so. Thank you, Cutter

well if ya really think so then i better not i guess im not really a rookie but i have been playing for less tha- wait no i guess i really dont have any reason to.... i have been playing for what will soon be 6 months. so if i do make it great but if not.. oh well and i also got confused because well i always dont get something lol

Whoa. Wait a minute here. I'm not about to let the whole squad out of flying this invitational match.

First of all, I've seen things where people get around the "rules" that are handed down. Don't think for a one moment that some "grease bag" ace pilot won't make a new account or find some way to fly in this event.

Top_Gun, your flying. Cutter you should fly too. Coldfire, Red_Ace, As a matter of fact anyone who has a tail number higher that 26 will in my mind be eligible to fly. Not to say that I consider you guys rookies, but because there will be some pretty tough opponents. Its not all going to be bread and butter.

When I see whats planned and what the rules are going to be, I'll let you know who and what I'd like to see flying in this event.
