Tides of War

i've just baught this game and its totally class, But about 5 -10 mins into the game it crashes and a blue screen appears with BIOS or something like that on the top and at the bottom, it says please reset your computer and enter SAFE MODE. I've tried reinstalling the game but no joy, does anyone know whats going on is this just my computer or is there someone else having the same problems,

That's a tough one.  We haven't seen this exact type of crash.  Could you run a dxdiag report and send it to support@warfleet.net  We will figure out what's going on.

Blue Screen Of Death? you need to read and record the error message..and does it only do it when you play
Enigma?...is your OS Win98..or Win98 Second Edition...did ya install any new drivers..usually when it takes you to safe mode it is trying to tell you something is wrong...alot of older Operating Systems in my opinion just can't handle things such as multiple programs or new hardware very well....I know it might be not be an easy thing to do but  Win2000 or Winxp are very good at handling things...don't crash as much and handle errors better.Might be time to upgrade.Very hard to diagnose that kind of thing except to retrace your steps...has the  computer always had little glitches like that or is it just now...The OS Upgrade is the quickest fix usually unfortunatley...What I tell my customers if you have constant problems with it crashing like that then an upgrade/format is the quickest way back to a stable computer.Otherwise the frustration factor just kills ya. and makes ya mad.might be  a video card conflict...like the card might be sharing the same IRQ as  say a network adapter...or a modem...and you may never had seen the problem until the 2 finally clash...trying to use same resource at same time...this type of problem is common is older OS's....don't mean to ramble...just realized you have XP...still might have a card conflict with a device....can always try different  card slots if possible...sounds like a vid card conflict...or using too high a resolutions...I even ran into the unthinkable problem of having to replace the CMOS battery...computer kept losing time and finally wouldn't boot up...changed battery and all problems gone...possible processor heating up to much in game too...more fans????

As Ice said, you need to reproduce it, and write it down on a piece of paper, then post it here.

Im thinking ACPI error or corrupted RAM or corrupted dll files.

You can also try this:

Start->Settings->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Event Viewer

Check if there was recorded an Application Log or System Log of the crash.

Post here if there was
