Still Can't Read The Screen

thanks for the advice - the things u mentioned seemed not to have loaded correctly - reading 400+kb rather than 400,000+kb. I tried reloading the cd several times but always with the same result - getting nto the preferences page or the game page with the mission instructions and the font is illegible - as are some of the instruments. No idea what I'm doing wrong! Any more suggestions?

I can assure you that the devs reads all topics on this forum, if you dont have an answer within a day, you can be sure that they are investigating it.

I been reading through the forums here and at other places and have the same problem.  The shell begins I get to the menu screen and it's unreadable.  Fonts are freaky anroid type like the others who are having the problem.  I ran the diag and sent it in.  I hope someone can solve that.  I can click at random on the menu but after trying to load it crashes to the desktop.
Any clues email me too!

I got the game to work somewhat by right clicking the exe file and having it run in 256 98 compat mode.  The words are still unreadable but it does start but controlling the vessels is rather hard work.  Seems I can only steer using the speed of the shafts not rudder.

any changable graphics such as heading depth angle rounds left are all unreadable still as well as the main menu

This is a very unusual error and I have forwarded all of the information we have to Microsoft tech support.  We hope to have some feedback from them this week.  Sorry for the delay and for the problem.
