Hi USAAC-staff,

I noticed you implemented ladders on this site and want to ask if they are ready to join. Well I registered for the 1vs1 ladder but can?t challenge another player, being unranked myself.

Great work there. I am keen to join the fun. How ?

As far as I know .. the Ladder system works, at least that is what I'm told.

I Have not advertised or pushed the 'ladders' for all pilots to use as they wish .. because "I" don't know how to really use it! I know .. my system and I don't know how to use it .. I"m embrassed ::

I started work on a "Sky King" AA Ladder set, but never had opportunity to test it all out. So what you see and what you joined is a 'test'.

Good question you have .. 'how' to challenge. I must have a setting wrong as unranked should be able to challenge .. or at least I would think so. I'll try to look into that sometime near future ..

If you would like to use the system to full potential .. I'll set you up an admin account.

All Squads can use this system with their own admin account, etc. Great for intra squad competition and bragging rights

Na, thank you Todd but I really don?t need more admin-responsibilities. Actually I?m trying to get rid of some, lol.

Additionally I don?t need to stick my nose into all AA-related projects, don?t you think ? ^^

However: please post back in here, when the ladder is ready. Afaik TANK is also working on one over at TAA and personally I have waited very long for such a ladder (since KAA-times already). Single pilot competitions are really missing in our global project and I?m really looking forward to one or even more ladders.

Why re-create the wheel? Have Tank come over and digest this one .. its works and works well.

And, your not sticking your nose into anything that is USAAC. The ladder system is for all communities to use i.e. UKAA, TAA, KAA and USAAC .. as they see fit. We at USAAC Staff want to 'give back' as much as we have taken over the years .. this is our contribution .. our thank you.

You words of "single pilot missions" is exactly what I had in mind .. where pilots could compete against each other at their own time and choosing. Squads can use this also for intra competition and LMS etc..

I think .. Tank should come over and talk with me .. I'll give him full access and he can see how we can all use this system and work it into central launch ..

The way Central Launch is set up .. would lend itself nicely to this.
