Voice System Works But...?

ok jesper i downloded the 257mb demo and it works fine but from some resean i have to use 2 mics at the same time to give voice orders why?
i pluged one mic to the "mic in" on the soundcard and the other to the external box to the "line in" hole and when i did the: "it is a difrent world" test-when push the button the mic that i have connected directly to the soundcard stop responding and the one that i have conected to the ex box "line in" is still active but it needs to attach the two mics together to pass the test and i gues it isnt normal so ... what do you say?
Unplug the mike in the LINE IN, you just need 1 mike.
Click START->settings->control panel->speech
Select Input device and choose your sound cards Wave Device.
Start E:RT, click prefs, click mike on, click mike test, say its a different world.
