USAAC Web Site

Question: Why do I always have to log in on the forums? Why does this site not remember my information?

It is unfortunate, but there is no one answer. There are however some 'common' solutions for most who have a problem with the USAAC Site and Forums where you have to log in at every visit. We cannot support all browsers, but will do our best to try and solve any problems that come up.

Answer Forums:

1) Be sure that you are registered and be sure to check the 'remember me' box when you log in.

2) Cookies. If you have your browser set to not accept cookies, then you have to live with logging in at every visit and other small annoyances. You can solve some of this if you will allow cookies as most sites these days use cookies and session cookies heavily. USAAC Forums use session cookies.

2a) Internet Explorer. If you have a standard setup go to Tools>Internet Options>Privacy>Advanced.

In the 'Advanced' section select or check "Override Automatic Cookie Handling. Now you will see other option become available. At the bottom of the form select or check off "Always Allow Session Cookies". the other options in that form you must decide. A safe settings would be to accept 1st party cookies, block 3rd party cookies. This should now take care of your annoyance. There is also under Advanced a button for 'Sites', you can add USAAC and forums.tidesofwar.net and designate these sites may always use cookies. This may also be a good solution for you.

2b) FireFox. If you have a standard setup go to: Tools>Options>Privacy>

In the 'Cookies" section of this form make sure you select or check off the "Accept Cookies From site". Once you have done this go one step further on that form and click the "Exceptions" button. At this input area add the following sites and either use the 'allow' or 'allow session' button to add the site. "allow" would be the best choice. Add the following sites: www.airattack.us and forum.tidesofwar.net

2c) Other browsers. Most likely other browsers will have similar setting to MSIE or FireFox. If your primary browser is not MSIE or FireFox post your browswer and we will try and figure that out for you. If you are using another browswer not on our list above and your cookie settings are not causing you a problem please post the setting you are using and we will up date this FAQ.

Answer Central-Launch: The problem here is once again cookies and most likely the answer giving for 'forum' will solve your problem/annoyance on the Central-Launch portion of the website. Central-Launch section is what/where you actually launch the game of Air Attack to play. Remember that you must be registered on that site as well, also use the 'remember me ' option.
