I was reading everything and was wondering ... does the game run on Windows ME ???

Yeps it does

Sadly i too run windows ME! but i have been running this game succesfully (on a 1.7Ghz 256MB RAM GForce3) could do with  a little more memory, but no ME related bugs at all!
BUY IT!

i did and now i have no other life!

Ok, I did but I am having a few problems ...
Installed ok, started running, no problems.

But after 3 - 12 minutes of playing :

A: either a "clean crash" meaning the game exits without reason to the desktop

              Or

B: a total freeze

I have tried to put all the system recources to minimal with accelaration and sound, details of the sea and all, but still no luck.

I cut everything down that runs in the background, unplugged internet but still the same symptoms.

Any ideas ???

does the crash happen EVERY time or randomly?
do you have all the latest drivers for your hardware

i dont need to ask if you tried to decrease the sound accel, you tried allready

Send a dxdiag report to support@warfleet.net explain your problem and put a link to this thread in the mail aswell

The crash happened every time, in every scenario.
"The only thing that was differrent was the time which varied from 3 to 12 minutes.

Ok ... small update ...

I have spend the evening trying to figure out what & how ... but no luck.

All what i could was updated with regards to hardware has been updated.

I tried running the game over & over & over ...

Started with full accelaration, then slowed down to none.

The good news: I have no experienced no such crashes as described earlier.

Bad news : nothing will load anymore !!

I get the opening, then get to the menu, selct a mission ( any mission ), the mission starts loading ... .the whistle blows a few times and right after you see the last "loading "indicator ... everything STOPS !

... earlier I just got a system crash ... but then I was already in the game



Now i am not even allowed to board a vessel anymore.

Tried an uninstall / install but no luck.

Any thoughts ?
