Long Live Sin

Right this stops now. Im fed up of about 700 whispers a day saying why are you in sin? you traitor, you suck. If i hear another one head my way i dont want to see the guy on the recieving end of what i say.

I went to sin because of the people in it. My friends ds, rua etc not to cause trouble. but now things are getting out of hand and im not gonna stand quiet about it. to be honest IM frackING p----- OFF.

Firstly It was formed on the basis that there was continuating problems, people wanting

to leave, people not getting on with other people.

It was a accident waiting to happen.

Lostsouls post describes it all but to label us backstabbers, traitors is totally unexcusable and the biggest kick in the teeth is not being aloud in the coalition, considering most of us was there when we was wiping on venoxis in zg and to simply go no you cant come in because of a different name etc is basically s---.. After all we have done for it as well. Well done guys. Youve lost some of the best players in it.

I was away for three weeks and i came back to find da disbanded and guildless but the disbanding wasnt the biggest problem at all, it was the bitching, the segregating of people. And i know the people who kicked up the most fuss and trust me when i get a chance i will speak with them.

so what i say is, no way am i or any of the others being labeled a traitor and a backstabber but if thats how you see us then LONG LIVE SIN. I wish the best of luck to you guys but to some of you, i would be careful what you decide to cook up.

Well Grim...Im not one of those people that are /w you or any other people from SiN, but I hope you understand that the people who were in DA suddenly got the news on a wednesday evening that the guild was going to be disbanded because people wanted to leave (and they said you were gonna leave too so Im a bit confused about that now tbh). Kinda came like a surprise for the most of us anyway. I think if most people feel the same as me, I do think the way this has gone was very secretive. I know the first question I asked was "so what are you gonna do now" and only got vague answers, while everyone was invited to SiN already. I mean, I don't mind it if you don't want me in your guild but at least say it like it is and say: "the officers want the guild back like it was, it got out of hand, to many people joined, we want to start over just together and we are not waiting for you in it, give a reason why what people were invited, anything but the vague stuff we got when the guild was being disbanded and making a new guild behind everyone's backs that no one could know about till it was there. Come on, the officers decided to disband the guild and make a new guild together, the rest didn't get any say or warning, do you think that would have received appplaus? I did consider myself a friend and I think the rest did too so this was a bit of a cold shower.

And dunno why people are suddenly only mad at you (if they are) since you were on vacation...

oh and I do miss you all, think the rest does too, we never wanted DA to split!

But at least you could all try to understand why we don't feel all rosy and happy about all of this.

The Decision to Disband DA was made by the Guild Master and the 4 Officers of the guild that were present

Grimgier was fully unaware of the split until it had happened

NO guild members of Death Angels were aware of the split until it happened, including those that joined SiN

There was no conspiracy.

I would just like to point out that I WAS opposed to the guild being disbanded and said so several times when it was being discussed the night before the disband - I had suggested Lisz or Yorga or indeed anyone to pass it over to - then guildies could make up their own minds what to do next -

on the actual night - I couldn't and didn't take part in any discussions as I was in MC with the whip being well and truly cracked -

I was annoyed about the decision and the subsequent posts - I had stated on the Tues that I was seriously thinking of leaving DA - not even particularly to go anywhere, but because it no longer felt like 'home' and wasn't the guild I had joined - many friends had gone and I (like many people in game) had established my main character with 'outside' raid groups

SiN - as far as I can remember, was intended to be a 'home' again for the older DA's - a smaller guild where people knew each other and a sense of closeness and good spirit could be re-established and strengthened - and people were free to raid with whomever they wished inc Tribes - afaik DS had spoken to Koren/Buxt and SK-ers

This was all rather rushed and under-discussed imho - contrary to there being any kind of 'conspiracy' - it was more like a chaotic avalanche

As i've said in guild chat with FI a while ago, I have settled into FI nicely and I do not really think about what life was like in DA - Ignorance is bliss.

I see little point in whining becuase it won't bring the guild back, I widely understand why the SiN members became SiN members, and I hold NOTHING against them for being so. Those who I cared about for in DA are either in my friends list or have joined Feral Instinct/SK, and I refuse to lose contact with those great people.

So yes Grim, long live SiN!! It's a great guild i'd love to be in but I love being in this guild Coalation too. My roots are planted and they're staying. But still, long live SiN!

if you wanted to go on coalition raids why not join coalition guilds

Coalition accepts other guilds, while I was in atleast 2 or 3 other guild sort of joined. Whether they showed or not. SiN is effectively DA, just a new Guild name. Where's the problem?
