Graphics Problem..

greetings fellow seamen /women
i recently purchased emigma rising tide .. i upgraded to the gold ..
now it seems when im useing the target periscope , the targets look kinda foggy . they dont look clear , unless they are only a few meters away .. im useing a nvidia graphic card .. geforce 2 mx/mx 400 64 megs of ram ..
my computer uses a intel celetron 2.8 gig . and it has 512 ram ..
the game is a great game , once you get into it .. im just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or help on my graphics problem .. any help , or suggestions , would be greatly apprecitated .. thanks for reading .. FAIR WINDS , TO ALL HANDS ON BOARD .

foggy ,, as in hazy .. not as clear as it was , before i installed the gold patch .. its almost like a GLARE , on the target periscope .. the targets are not as DETAILED , as they were . IM ADJUSTING HE FX , PARTICILES ,GAMMA ETC . BUT ITS NOT HELPING MUCH . THANKS FOR THE REPLY IN THE MEANTIME .

you dont have enough memory space on your graphics card. it happened to me too whenever i installed the retail e:rt. you have to replace your current card with a better one (I think

) then you got to reinstall (again I think

)

thanks so much for the reply . would you mind giving me an idea on another graphics card to replace the NVIDIA , i have??i know its an old , maybe outdated card , if you can , tell me which card you replaced yours with .. again , thanks for replying . cheers .

maybe an ATI Radeon Xpress 200? thats what i have on my computer and it works like a dream but its on a new computer and the graphics card came with it. You might want to check your computers compatability and check with the guys at best buy

. and you have to check and see if your computer is able to switch cards. by the way you need a card that is made for gaming and has plenty of space

thanks again .. ill consider a new graphics card . the ati radeon is about $100 in the u.s .. that will be about $140 here in canada .. funny though ,, on the original box , the recommeded system requirments is saying that the nvidia card , at 64 megs ,should be fine .. but then again , this is no gameing computer .. ha ha . anyways .. thanks for the help ,,and info .. cheers .. There is an issue with the MX440 series card.
Remember to get the latest NV driver set from www.nvidia.com
The game is supposed to be a little foggy, but you should be able to see ship silouettes areound 15-2000 m away.

thanks for all the help here .. i purchased a nvidia fx 5200 ,128 megs .. and its a world of difference .. 100% better ..
now , if i could only figure out how to blow up a enemy sub , with those dept charges .. ha ha . seems like theres a bit of LUCK to it .. ha ha . but it makes the game that much more of a challenge .. thats a GOOD thing ,, me thinks ..
