How about a range finder so we can figuer out how far away a ship is?

Oh, and by the way, you know how you have that little emoticon selection box has smileys that are next to each other and look exactly the same. Why is that?

If you look in the big tactical, you can get an "approximate" location for the other ship, heading, speed....I only ignore former employees

But i can never figure out how far away it is.

The range for the TAC (like 500, 1K, 4K, 8K, etc.) is the distance from the center of the sweep to the outer edge (the fourth ring). Each concentric ring is 1/4 of that distance.
