I tried the advice but I never got it to work. So what I did was this: I ran at flank at 90 degrees for 5 minutes at 195m. Cut engines and coast for 1 minute, then run at flank at 70 degrees for 2 minutes. This got me within 1000m of the oilers, with one annoying DE in the way. Cut and coast, while rising to 13m, kill the DE and the oilers are cannon fodder.

Make sure you aren't moving when you fire else you'll leave a periscope wake which will bring the wrath of the other DEs and corvettes down on you.

Call me a poor sport or whatever you choose but the people who made this game probably are terrible game players who can?t win at any game. Because of that they made a game that you have to be perfect or very lucky to win. I sank 11 ships and finally had to come up because of a low battery and they got me right away. For some reason they never miss. They say get the oilers but you can?t even try with 6 DE after you just after you start the misson. They are probably laughing all the way to the bank.

Well took me about 2 hours to beat this mission and the bad thing the next is harder!!!!!! I figured out why they make this so hard, it is to go on mulitplayer and pay them some more money so we can go against each and really enjoy the game. You want to see something that is really sick I got this as a reply to why the missions are so hard

(Enigma was designed to be a little different game. The patrols are there to let you choose a mission and level of difficulty that you are comfortable with. The Campaigns are designed to start where the medium-hard patrols end. Enigma is a strategic game and quite often learning some patience and trying different tactics is vital. It is also vital to understand the mission assignment. Most of them have communications from your officers that will try and throw you.) Can you believe that last sentence, not only do you have to beat gobs of DE's and such we have to try and figure out what the mission is. Give me a break! Don't tell us how to win but at least tell us what the mission really is.

You skipped the part in the message that told you the REAL MISSION instructions are included. You just need to follow the mission plan.

I think actucally this mission is kinda easy. OK, I need some trys (i also tried the storming manouver), but at least I made it on this way:

At first I take care about those DEs and CVs. When they were destroyed, I went on surfaced at flank speed, heading 80? to get to the 4 VS (until here no hull damage). On the way I got one of them with my deckgun. The others stand all in a row. I submerged because there were only 15% of my hull left. I sunk the those VSs and also the last CV, that was incoming from sw, where also all the other Ms were (now I had 2 torpedos [5 hadn?t hit there target]). With my 15% hull i went on surface again, trying to get some of the Ms. But no change. They just needed two more hits and then I sunk. But the mission was allready won.

Well i thought this mission was the hardest i had played....6 seems just as hard...but i wanted to say how i did it. First thing i did was get to periscope depth, and come to a stop to get an accurate reading on the BTAC. Once i had a good scan, set at flank speed to a bearing around 130, since the tankers are bearing about 80-90 degrees. Dont worry about being noisy, they find you no matter what...Very shortly most of the DD's and DE's will head toward you. When they get within a hazardous range, dive back down deep... at flank speed, its hard for them to get charges to you....the DD's and DE's are gonna keep cruising around up there, About every 2-3 minutes come back to 1/3 or stop, to refresh the BTAC with those oilers...Eventually what happened was the DE's and DD's get away from the oilers and behind you....you can then pop up within 1000m and send some torpedos at those dumb oilers. Important to be always moving, and changing depth. For a while i was up at about 12m cruising next to a CV that didn't seem to care i was there.
